Caleb turned 6 months on March 24th. He is getting so big so fast. He laughs and giggles all the time. We also took our family Easter pictures as well. We had a lot of fun with Hale Photography taking our pictures. Morgan did an amazing job.

Mid March, Joe got the highchair out of the garage, cleaned it and now Caleb gets to eat in his highchair. Lucas loves eating with brother at the table in his booster chair. These two boys are going to be inseperable. Lucas loves to be everywhere that Caleb is and Caleb loves his brother Lucas. Caleb is getting so big! He is now eating baby food and loving it!!

Lucas makes us laugh all the time. Below are some pictures of him being silly. The first set is of him playing in the Dryer. He thought it would be funny to hop in the dryer and play around. Joe decided to buy some shears and start cutting Lucas' hair himself. Lucas did very good in sitting still in his booster chair the entire time. Joe did a great job with his hair!! Now we will save $15 everytime Lucas needs a hair cut. Our little boy is growing so fast.

Caleb is 5 Months Old

Our baby boy turned 5 months old on February 24, 2010. He is such a delight. He laughs and giggles all the time. He is a very good boy. He loves his brother, Lucas. He will watch Lucas and follow him around. Lucas can always get Caleb to laugh and Smile. They are going to be best little buds when they get older!!! We love our little baby so much. He is growing so fast!!

Caleb is 4 months old. I can't believe he is getting so big. He is such a happy baby. This last month his personality has really started to show. He is very calm and barely cries. He started sleeping 12 hours through the night at 12 weeks old. We love him so much.

Family Time

Joe and I decided that we wanted to spend more family time together. Therefore, we made a 2010 challenge that from 4-8pm we will turn off all electronics and spend more time with the kids. Lucas loves his daddy time and we are having so much fun hanging out. Our afternoons are so stressfree. We eat dinner together as a family everynight, have bath time and bed time. We have truly been enjoying our time together.

In Memory of a Wonderful, Amazing and Loving Grandma

On September 7, 2009 Grandma had a stroke and was admitted into the hospital. From this stroke she became paralized on her right side and had limited speech. She stayed in the hospital for a couple of weeks, then she was moved to the rehibiliation center at Sutter Rosevile and then lastly she was moved to Roseville Care center where she received thearapy and constant care. After months of progess and hope for a recovery, Grandma had another stroke and multiple Brain Seizures on December 29, 2009. The doctors gave Grandma anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days to live. On January 9, 2010 Grandma went home to be with the Lord. This process was extremely hard on the entire family. We love Grandma so much and she has been an amazing, Grandma, Mother, Sister and Friend to so many. She was always there for you and could always count on her. You could always enjoy a wonderful conversation with her. She was the best Grandma Ever!!! She will be missed so much.

Christmas 2009

This year we had a busy Christmas. It started on Christmas Eve Day where the Normans came over to our house and we opened up presents and spent the afternoon playing Dominoes and hanging out. Lucas got a remote control truck from the Eccles and a remote control train for Uncle Dave and Michelle. He loves playing with them. Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Geri's house for our annual Jacques Gift Exchange and Dinner. We had a lot of fun and got some realy nice gifts. Christmas morning we woke up and spent time with our family. Lucas got a 4 wheeler and loved it. He also opened up gifts from his Aunt & Cousins from Vegas. Around 11am Christmas morning we headed over to Grandma & Papa's house. My mom made a delicious egg casarole and had plenty to eat. The entire family end up coming over and we spend a wonderful day celebrating Christ's Birthday.

Christmas Lights Walk

Saturday night we went with a group of friends to Pebble Creek to see the Christmas Lights. Almost all the houses on the street decorate for Christmas. They have every theme you can think of: Veggie Tails, Little Mirmaid, Nativity Scenes, etc. The kids had a great time looking at all the lights. Within our group there were 4 couples and 8 children, All BOYS!!! I put Caleb in a warm suit that looked liked an Eskamoe, he was so cute in it. We met up at Starbucks and got some hot coffee and hot chocolate and then off we went. We had a lot of fun and we hope to make this a tradition every year!!!

My baby Caleb is 12 weeks old today. He is growing so fast. He is such a happy baby. He is now sleeping 12 hours through the night and mommy is very happy. He has bright blue eyes that I could stare at all day. He makes us very happy and we all love him to death.

The Boys Visited Santa Clause

On Thursday night we took the boys to the Galleria Mall where they got to see Santa Clause. Lucas was so cute to watch him see Santa Clause for the first time. Joe & I had a bet if he was going to be too scared and not want to sit on his lap. I won!!! I know my son too well. He was scared but he still sat on his lap. As you can tell from the picture he was so amazed with everything that was going on that we couldn't get a smile out of him. Caleb did very well the entire time. He slept the entire time we waited, which was an hour, and then I got him up once we got to Santa. I put Caleb on Santa's lap and he did amazing. A couple of the shots we got him smiling but Lucas wasn't so we didn't purchase that picture. I am so glad we took the boys to see Santa. It was so much fun watching Lucas see him for the first time!!!

Lucas & Caleb have Pneumonia

Caleb had to get a chest x-ray today which was the saddest thing to watch. They strapped him into the contrapment called a "Pig Machine." He sat on a bicycle seat, then they pulled his arms above his head and strapped his arms in with plastic. It was so sad watching him screaming the entire time. The guy who did the xrays said that if anything came back with concern our doctors office would call us. Well, within a hour later we got a call. The xrays came back with Pheumonia!! Therefore, they wanted us to bring Caleb into the doctors immediately. We thought while we were taking Caleb we will bring Lucas as well and get him checked out. Well after checking Lucas as well they confirmed that BOTH kids have Pneumonia!! Our boys and their lungs. The doctor said that we will probably be dealing with this a lot as they get older just because they have such bad lungs and brocholia's. They are not contageous which is a good thing but the whole thing is frustrating!!! We got antibodics so hopefully they will get better within a couple of days.

The Adventures of Lucas

As many of you know Lucas is such a character. Therefore, I thought I would take a couple of minutes and share with you some stories that have happened the last couple of months.

The other day I was getting ready for us to go somewhere and all of a sudden I hear Lucas talking in the family room. I leave my bathroom and head to the family room to find Lucas sitting on the ground next to Caleb (who is in the bouncer) reading him his children's Bible. It was the cutest thing ever. Af course he was just saying a bunch of random words but it was so precious to see.

Along with Lucas reading his bible to his brother, for the past couple of weeks the bible has been his new favorite toy. He takes it everywhere with him. The other day we were heading to our Wednesday Bayside Playgroup and I thought Lucas would leave his bible in the car but he would not get out of the car unless he could bring his bible with him. Such a character.

Last Thursday I went to Sunrise Church MOPS and put Lucas in the two year old class. When I came to pick him up the teachers were telling me how much they love watching him and what a character Lucas is. They said he was Skipping all through the classroom and having so much fun. They can't wait to watch him get older and the little man he becomes, either can I.

Lucas loves to say "No & Why." These are his two favorite words right now. He will ask us a question, we will tell him the answer and then he will always say, "WHY." At first it was very cute now it is starting to get annoying!!!

This last Monday, it snowed in Rocklin. It was so much fun to wake up and see all the snow on the ground. Well I took Lucas outside to see the snow and he was so funny. He started talking to the snow. He goes on to tell the snow that he was eating gold fishes and they were yummy. So hilarious. I started laughing and then got on the phone immediately and told Joe the story.

Lucas is also going through this phase where he loves to wear mommies shoes. Whenever I am getting ready he will always come into our room and pull out my heals and put them on. He is so cute walking around the house with mommies shoes on.

Lucas loves his baby brother, Caleb. He calls his "my baby." He gets very concerned with his brother. If Caleb starts to cry he immediately lets me know, "mommy baby crying" as if I can't hear that Caleb is crying. Whenever we are going "bye bye" he always makes sure that "baby" is going with us. He doesn't want to go anywhere without baby coming, as if I would leave Caleb at home by himself during the day with no one to watch him.

Lucas loves to go "bye bye." Every morning when he wakes up one of the first things that comes out of his mouth is "bye bye?" He always wants to know if we are going "bye bye" that day.

Lucas is a big fan of his pajamas. He ALWAYS wants to wear his pajamas. He would even want to wear them out in public if I would let him. Even if we have gone somewhere that morning and we are coming home for a nap, he has to put his pajamas on before he will take a nap. On black Friday Walmart was having pajamas sets for $3.00, we picked up 4 sets for Lucas just because of how much he loves his pajamas.

Lastly, a couple nights ago, Joe was home with Lucas and saw him do the funniest thing. He picked up his play cell phone and told Joe that he was going to call his friend, Ella. He then goes on and says, "Hello, you coming over, cool, bye bye." Joe just started laughing. It is so amazing how kids watch things that we do and pick up on them so fast. I still can't believe that he did that. We will never put anything past him. He is such a funny kid!!!

So these are some funny stories of Lucas over the past couple of months. We truly love our 2 year old boy. He keeps us laughing ALL the time. He has such a fun, charasmatic personality and we are very excited to see his personality grow more and more every day.

This year I thought it would be fun for our entire family to take pictures. So I got an idea from a friend to create our own photo studio. My mom decorated her house beautifully for Christmas, so we went to their house and took some amazing pictures by our friend, Jenn. Lucas was such a character as normal and Caleb did a great job. We had a fun time taking pictures with our family.

Adam's 30th Birthday

Adam turned 30 and Amy & Layla threw him a birthday party. It turned out to be a great event. They had the party in their club house at their apartment complex. Joe & I brought Adam his favorite Beer and Cake for his present. They had a DJ that played music, we played some poker (and I won, YAY) and they had some basketball games on. We hung out for a couple hours and enjoyed a nice evening without any KIDS. My parents were kind to watch the kids for the evening. You have to take up on opportunities like that!!!

Thanksgiving Morning

So the weekend after Thanksgiving, Joe & I had planned to take Family Christmas pictures. Well on Thanksgiving morning I was giving Lucas and Caleb a bath. After we were done I got them both out of the bathtub. I was in the process of getting Caleb dressed when Lucas decided he wanted to get back into the tub. Lucas then proceeds to run towards the bathtub. As he was trying to slow down he slips on the water on the floor and hits his face on the bath tub. After screaming for a good 5 minutes I look at his face and discovered a huge black eye. Then Joe came home from playing in a Thanksgiving Day Football game for me to find his lip busted and a part of his front tooth a little cracked. So I have a son with a black eye and a husband with a busted lip and cracked tooth. It doesn't look like we are taking Christmas pictures this weekend after all. What a morning!!!

Christmas Tree Decorating

This year we wanted to go up to Apple Hill and cut down our own tree but it was so windy that we decided to stay around town. So we headed to a couple of local christmas tree lots and after the third place we found our tree we wanted. When we got home Lucas helped dad cut it and trim it before bringing it inside. Then we started decorating. Lucas loved decorating the tree. He was so cute to watch. It was a wonderful Saturday with the family, watching football and decorating the house and tree. I love days like this!!!

Thanksgiving Dinners

This year we had two Thanksgiving Dinners. The first one was at my grandparents house on Thanksgiving Day and the second one was at my parents house the day after Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving. My grandmother was able to attend both Thanksgiving Dinners. It was so wonderful to spend time with her outside the nursing home. My grandpa was very excited to have her home as well. My aunt was telling us how he waited patiently for her to arrive. Then when they brought her in he showed her around and explained to her everything they did to prepare for Thanksgiving Dinner. When they came to pick my grandma up to take her back to the nursing home my grandpa got teary eyed. It was the cutest thing ever. At my parents house on Friday we also celebrated my Dad's Birthday. His birthday was on Nov. 21st but my mom & dad were on vacation and we weren't able to celebrate it yet. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving hanging out with everyone.

Robbie's Surprise Birthday & Joe's Mom in Town

On Saturday, November 21st Sandy threw a Surprise Birthday party for Robbie who turned 40. Joe's Mom, Sandy, flew into town for it as well. It turned out to be a great event. It was at Coach's Bar in Rocklin at Strikes Bowling. Sandy asked their friends band, "Eastbound 50" to play. They did a good job. The lead singer was hilarious. Robbie was the one who named their band so that was pretty funny that they end up playing at his birthday. Joe's mom enjoyed meeting and holding Caleb. She loves her grandson's. It was wonderful watching her interact with them. She came bringing gifts for Lucas which Lucas loved. It was a great spending time with her. She was able to spend the night and then we went up to the mall on Sunday morning and Lucas played in the play structure areas.

Grandma loves to hold Caleb. I try to bring in the kids to see her in the nursing home at least once a week. I think this brings a smile to her face. I love watching her hold Caleb. The first time Grandma saw Caleb was when I was in the hospital. I asked her if she wanted to hold Caleb and she was very nervous and said "no." My Great Aunt Colleen was there and tricked my grandma into holding him. She was so excited to hold him. She was just unsure of her arm strength and was scared of dropping him. After that she always says "yes" when I ask her if she wants to hold him. I love it!!!

Bridgeway & Lakeside Halloween

Lucas and Caleb had a great Halloween this year. They got to go to three Harvest Festivals: Bayside, Bridgeway & Lakeside plus trick & treating. We went to Bridgeway the night before Halloween with Aunt Lisa and Aunt Amy. We had tons of fun at Bridgeway, they put on a great show. They had bounce houses, FREE food, lots of games and CANDY!! On Halloween night we went to Lakeside with Brad, Salina, Ella & Landen. There we play and jumped in the bounce houses and they had a trunk & treat where we got lots of candy. Lucas & Caleb were very lucky boys this year and Lucas had tons of fun at all of the Harvest Festivals. Plus he loved wearing his ELMO costume. And believe it or not we didn't see any other elmo costumes. I for sure thought there would be a lot of them. But the nice thing about him wearing a bright red elmo costume was it was easy to see him in the crowds.

Coloring Time

Lucas Loves to Color and Draw. We probably color once a day. One day Grandpa drew a house on his "extasketch" so now he calls everything a "house!" It is the cutest thing. He is very proud of his coloring and drawing. Lucas makes us laugh all the time.

Bayside Halloween- Trunk & Treat!!!

On Sunday, October 25th we went to Bayside Trunk & Treat Halloween. It was CRAZY!! There was probably at least 5K people who had the same idea. We met up with Casey, Colleen & Josiah and Brad, Salina, Ella & Landen. It was a great event. They had tons of bounce houses, food, games, music and CANDY!! Lucas picked out his own costume this year and wanted to be ELMO and Caleb was a cute little PUPPY. Our boys are so CUTE!!!

Caleb is One Month Old

Caleb turned 1 month old today. He is getting so big. We love him so much. He still is only sleeping 3-4 hours through the night, hoping to get more sleep in the future. Other than that he is a really good baby. Lucas is loving his baby brother. He calls him "my baby" and is very concerned about him. He likes to help out with Caleb too. He brings me a diaper when I need to change Caleb and he gets sad when he hears Caleb crying. We love our two boys so much!!!

On October 12th, when Caleb was 19 days old, we did Caleb's Bith Announcement pictures with Dene' Ogles. Dene' did such a great job. We love all the pictures. We are so thankful to have such talented and wonderful friends. Dene' provided us with black & white and colored pictures.

Apple Hill

This year on Sunday, October 18th we went to Apple Hill with Grandpa and Great Aunt Lisa. We had so much fun. We ate good food. Bought tons of fruit: apples & Peaches. Walked around. Went on a train ride and enjoyed spending time with Grandpa and Great Aunt Lisa. We love Apple Hill. Lucas had so much fun that as soon as he got in the car he fell asleep. Thank you Grandpa and Great Aunt Lisa for spending the day with us. We had a lot of fun.

Bishop's Pumpkin Patch

On October 7th we went to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch as a family. We had so much fun. Lucas loved watching the pig races, going down the slides, riding the hay ride to get his pumpkin and looking at the animals. There was so much to do. We also met up with our friends Colleen and her son, Josiah. Josiah and Lucas love playing with eachother and are great friends. It was such a beautiful day and we loved spending the day together!!!

Caleb's Welcome Home Party

Caleb's Welcoming Home party was on October 3rd, 2009. We truly enjoyed Caleb's Welcoming Home Party. Many Friends and Family joined us for this event bringing diapers and presents for Caleb. Grandma brought a beautiful cake & balloons for the occasion. Aunt Amy made amazing invitations and brought delicious appitizers for everyone. We are truly blessed with all of our friends and family. Thank you for everyone who came and celebrated with us in the Birth of Caleb Evan Norman.

Caleb's stay in the hospital and 1 week Old

Caleb is 1 weeks old. He is growing already so fast. He is still screaming at night for about 1 hour but does great during the day. We are having so much fun with him. Lucas is loving his baby brother. Mommy is still trying to get everything under control but I am sure one of these days we will get everything under control.

Caleb's stay in the hopsital was very nice. The nurses took very good care of him. He had tons of visitors come and see him. Everyone was so excited to see him and hold him. The first night mommy and daddy was able to get 5 hours of sleep. We really needed it. We were exhausted from the day with family and friends. Lucas loved meeting his baby brother for the first time. By the third day staying in the hospital we were ready to go.

Caleb Evan Norman

Caleb Evan Norman was born on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7:36am. He weighed 6lbs 13oz and 19 inches long. He is beautiful in every way. Mom, Dad, Lucas & Baby are doing wonderful. I started having contractions on Wednesday night. I got admitted into the hospital on Thursday at 2:00am. By 3:00am I had her epdiural. I was able to sleep for a little over 3 hours. At 7:00am the nurse came in and I pushed once and my water broke all over her. She had to go and change and I waited to finish pushing with the doctor. The Doctor came in around 7:15am. I did 3 pushes with the doctor and baby Caleb came into the world.

California State Fair

This last Saturday a group of us went to the California State Fair. We had a lot of fun. We ate Fried Food, saw the animals, went on the rides (well some of us did, I wasn't able to being 8.5 months pregnant), looked at the exhibits and best of all went on the Monorail. Lucas loved the "choo choo". We went on the monorail right at Sunset and it was beautiful. It was fun seeing all the rides all lit up and bright. Lucas, Me, Scott, Amy, Jen & Layla

Our family went to JC Penney's for Lucas' 2nd Birthday pictures AND my Pregnancy pictures. Lucas did such a great job and was such a character. We loved so many pictures it was hard to choose. I love watching him grow, he is such a delight!!! I can't believe he is already TWO, time flies by so fast.

We liked this family shot because it describes Lucas perfectly. He did this pose all on his own and the photographer just went with it. I really liked how it turned out.

I am so glad that I did pregnancy shots with this pregnancy. I didn't do them with Lucas and wished I had afterwards. This is me at 33 weeks.

My Cousin Jared got Married on August 1st, 2009. It was a beautiful wedding. The wedding was at my aunt & uncle's house (his parents house) in Georgetown. It was a real quick ceremony followed by a fun reception. My Cousin Heather and her son was hilarious on the dance floor. It was such a great time catching up with family. Joe & I spent the evening together without having to chase around a toddler. There were "no kids" allowed so we got a babysitter for Lucas and decided that we will do that for all weddings we go to in the future. Lucas turned TWO on August 1st. I can't believe this year has gone by so fast. Lucas had a wonderful 2nd Birthday!!! We did the Disney Pixar Car theme and it turned out amazing. We had tons of family and friends come celebrate his birthday with us. Lucas truly enjoyed himself. Some of the highlights was Lucas being him normal self and was dancing around in the family room and fell on the ottomans and scratched his chin. Typical Lucas. Also when we brought out the cake and he wanted to dig right into it with both hands. Didn't even skip a beat. Another funny moment were earlier in the day Lucas pulled down his shorts and took off his diaper and peed in the bark outside. I think someone is ready to be potty trained.

Week with the Norman Family

The week with the Normans was very fun. We were all very busy and and enjoyed spending time with eachother. We went to Whitney Water Park, Bounce U in Roseville, Day at Folsom Lake, Family BBQ, Galleria Mall Play Structures, and much more. Lucas loved hanging out with his cousins. He had so much fun he didn't know what to do with himself. We had a total of 7 kids & 5 adults staying at our house. You could say our house was a little hectic but tons of fun.

Grandma Sandy got Lucas his Birthday present for his 2nd B-day while she was here. Lucas loves ELMO so Grandma Sandy got him an Elmo chair. He loves it. It is cute when he is sitting on his Elmo chair watching Elmo!!

The Norman Family spent a Day at Folsom Lake at Beals Point. We had a lot of fun. There were a total of 18 of us. We brought out 2 canapies, chairs, food & a boat and hand some good family time. The kids loved the boat, even Ian( 3 years old) went on the tube. I was very impressed. The 3 brothers: Joe, John & Dave had a tubbing contest: Joe won an award for his flipping capabilities. Dave won due to his strength & John won for participation. It was awesome watching the boys try and show off with each other. John & Grace

Our 5-Year Anniversary in Monterey

Joe & I celebrated our 5-Year Anniversary on July 10th with a trip to Monterey for the weekend. Joe & I have never been to Monterey together. We had a wonderful time. We first went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Walked around and saw all the beautiful animals. They just opened the seahorse exhibit which was really cool. Also while we were in Monterey we drove the 17-mile drive which we really enjoyed. It was very beautiful and enjoyed the scenery. Lastly we went to Canary Row & Fisherman's Warf. We had a wonderful 5-year Anniversary.

Our hotel was only about mile from Canary Row & the Aquarium. So we were able to walk down there from our hotel. The walk was beautiful right along the ocean and our hotel was behind me to the right. We were right on the ocean at Lovers Beach.

These Seals sun bathed all day on Saturday. Didn't move. It was crazy to see so many.

Folsom Zoo With Sunrise MOPS Group

We went to the Folsom Zoo with the Sunrise MOPS group. We had a lot of fun. We saw 4 bears, brids, deer and much more. Lucas loves seeing all the animals. Afterwards we went next door and played on the huge play ground where Lucas loved sliding down the slide.

For the 4th we had a family BBQ with of course Ping Pong. Ping Pong has been the newest excitement at our house since I got it for Joe for Fathers Day. After we filled our stomach's we headed to the Auburn Fair Grounds to watch the Motorcycle races and the Fireworks. Lucas loved the little kids on the motorcycles, he would screem "Kids, Kids." He got really excited when he got to watch them ride around. The fireworks were a little scarry for Lucas at the beginning but by the end he was laughing and enjoying them.Mike and His girlfriend, Kim, playing ping pong.

We are loving our backyard terrace. Joe put the bamboo up so it

is really nice and relaxing back there. It also has misters but we need to get

them undercontrol. When we first turned them on they were spraying EVERYWHERE!!!

Today we went to the Sacramento Zoo!!! Joe's Mom, Sandy, is in town and was able to come along with us. We had so much fun. Lucas loved all the animals. Some of them he got a little scared but that's just Lucas. It was such a beautiful morning. This was Lucas' First time to the Zoo!!! We saw a lot of different animals: Tigers, monkey's, birds, snakes and so much more. What a great day at the Zoo.

Lucas' Disney Car Bedroom

When we moved into our house in Rocklin we turned Lucas' room into his big boy room and got him a toddler bed. A couple of weeks ago he started sleeping in his big boy bed and is loving it. It actually didn't end up being as big of a transition as I thought it was going to be. Here are some pictures of his new room.

Lucas can almost turn the wheels. He just needs about 1/2 inch more. My parents got this trycle for Luacs for his 1 year birthday, and he still has not been able to fully ride it on his own yet. He loves it so much and I can't wait for the day when he can ride it around.

We recently just got some bar stools and Lucas loves climbing on them and sitting on them like a big person. He thinks it is so funny. What a character.

Swim Lessons

Jet Skiing At Folsom Lake

On Saturday we went out to the lake on one of our friends boat,

Brad & Salina. They also invited some friends who brought out

2 Jet Skies. We all enjoyed ourselves hanging out, eating, riding the jet skies

swimming in the lake. It was so much fun we will

have to do it again.

So the last couple of months things have been very crazy. Here is a little brief summary of what we have been up to. We recently moved to Rocklin on June 1st and have been setteling into our house. We bought a boat at the end of May and have truly enjoyed going out to the lake with family and friends. Last weekend we had a big beach day with 3 boats, lots of food, kids and friends. Amy & I turned 28th on June 10th. I reached 6 months pregnant in June. Lucas started swim lessons. I have been very busy with Real Estate. Lucas has been staying very busy with play groups and Cal Fit!!

So Tuesday we went over to my Girlfriends house, Renee, and she took really cute pictures of Lucas. He was having so much fun playing with her furniture, as you can tell. Well this last weekend Joe, Amy, Lucas & I went to the Fountains and Lucas decided to run directly into the Fountains. Then I went to biblestudy at Bayside on Tuesday morning and he ran right into the table in the nursery class. The poor volunteer ladies felt so bad and tracked me down to make sure that Lucas was ok. I told them he is just a typical BOY!!!

Every year on Christmas Eve we go over to my Aunt Geri & Uncle Steve's house in Granite Bay. This is when we get together with the Jacques' side. All of my Dad's brother & sisters are there and we always do a huge Gift Exchange. Everyone is required to bring a nice $10 gift and then the game begins. Towards the end of our stay in Mexico I decided to go Parasailing. I am so glad that I did because it was the best experience ever. I was so relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it. I would suggest for anyone to do it. This is Me taking off from the boat
I had to go with another person because they needed more weight for it to work. Joe didn't want to go because he had already done it before plus he needed to stay on the beach with Lucas.

Mexico Family Vacation

We just got back from a family vacation to Playa De Carmen, Mexico. It was wonderful. We had
75 degree weather. Our resort was amazing!!! 4 huge pools, 5 resturants, maid service and food service. What more could you want. We left on Saturday Dec. 6th and flew to Texas where we had a layover which worked out perfectly because we were able to meet up with Joe's Family which we haven't seen in a couple of months. We met up with Joe's Mom, Sandy, Joe's Sister, Laura, her husband and my nephew Toby who is 1 year old. Lucas loved playing with Toby. He is so cute.

After our layover we headed to Cancun, Mexico. At the airport there was a shuttle waiting for us to take us to our resort which was about 20 minutes from the airport. We got to our resort late so we headed straight to bed. Sunday we spent the day walking around and familarizing ourself with the resort. Pretty much we spent all week lounging by the pool, hanging out on the beach and eating a lot of food. Lucas Loved the Beach and the water. It was a much needed vacation. On wednesday we went to Playa De Carmen city and shopped around, bargained with the locals and bought some christmas presents. Friday was excited because I went Parasailing. It was so much fun. I have never been before. I truly enjoyed myself. It was so relaxing. I am so glad that I finally was able to go. We left Mexico on Saturday afternoon. We had a direct flight back. 6 hours on a plane. Sometimes I like the layovers because you get a break from flying. We got in late to California and headed straight to bed. Great Vacation!!!
